Just like in the Hitchcock thriller "The Birds," our perfectly good Freeview aerial suddenly attracted the attention of some very messy birds. Life became hell with the daily (sometimes hourly) chore of cleaning up the horrible mess outside our front door and all over the porch. We were at our wits end and even prepared to ditch the aerial (and Freeview) completely in an attempt to rid us of the disgusting bird poo that we were confronted with. Now, Leigh likes a challenge, and he wasn't about to let the birds have their day with this one and ruin a perfectly good installation. By changing the style of the aerial and covering the replacement in some very spiky, clear surprises, he has won the match and the problems have thankfully flown away defeated.
